February 25th was a big day for Little Miss Jaz (well and us too)! She took her first two steps and then about 7 more! I was so lucky to be there. I was crying and Shelly was screaming for joy! haha We got it on video and you can find it on my FB page. She's getting two more teeth because she's been drooling, fussy and just a teeny bit cranky lately. It will probably be another week or so till they break through. This will make a total of 6.
Also, we bought a new car!! We're so excited about it. Never in a million years did I think we'd ever get a brand new one. We get to pick it up once we get back to VA.
We're down to 5 weeks now and we couldn't be more excited to get back home. We're looking forward to our cross country trip with two Chihuahuas, a baby!! Should prove to be interesting.
Hubby is being great and letting me sleep in, but for some reason today I just couldn't. Guess I'm used to getting up with her everyday, so sleeping in is kind of foreign to me. But I'm going and getting a pedicure today and get my eyebrows waxed. I haven't had either since the ball. I just can't seem to find the time to do it or I just simply forget about it!
I'm doing a little birthday party for little miss on April 3rd for her "1st" Birthday. Since we'll be in VA for it, I figured might as well get the whole family together and celebrate her. It's hard to believe that in just 10 weeks she'll be 1! It's been so much fun having her around and we LOVE her more than ANYTHING! She's the greatest.
Not sure if I mentioned in my last post, but Brian is officially done with his Bachelors!!! I couldn't be more proud of him. We're looking forward to his graduation in July. Funny thing is, is that he will be doing homework while we're on vacation for his graduation. He's starting his Master's in May. Almost there!!!
I guess that's all for now. It's been awhile since my last post and thought I needed to do an update.

57 days and a Million things to do
So we're down to 57 days left here. I have a million things to do with work and the house and our trips! Kind of overwhelming. If I would just sit down and make a list that would make things move smoother! I've never been too organized when it comes to PCS'ing, but now that Jaz is here I should try my best at it!! If I'm smart, I'll try to start separating our UAB and HHE stuff from now til we go on vacation. Once we get back we won't have much time and I'll still be working. I just want to be settled in one place for the next 3 years! From the time we left from the states in April 2008 to April 2011, we have moved 3 times! That's once a year! I can't wait to have some stability now that Jaz has joined us. Now I don't mind moving every three years, but three times in three years is insane!
I want our furniture, paint our house, give Jaz her own room and playroom, have a garage, our hot tub, our furbabies........OUR place!!!! I have enjoyed the opportunity given to me and it also gave us a chance to expand our family and have Bri be involved with it! He was here for her birth (which I would venture to say is almost rare in the military) and will be here for the first two years of her life. Not many have had that opportunity, but one for which we are so thankful for!
Jumping to a different topic: Brian will finish his Bachelors on February 7, 2011!!!! We couldn't be more proud or happy for him. We'll be attending his graduation in July with family in AZ. Crazy guy is going to start his Master's program in May. So it's going to be funny when he's doing his homework during graduation. But the main goal is to have his Master's before retiring. Which should be an easy task for him. Coming no this program has given him the chance to finish his Bachelor's this soon. We weren't sure what we were going to do after retirement, but now we do! Just gotta get there.
It's weird to think that my husband will be retiring in just a little over 6 years. Jaz will only be 7 years old when he retires, so that gives us a chance to get her in school and stay put. I think it would be great if she could graduate with kids she went to elementary school with. Anyways, this post has no real significance, so I'm going to go now.
Cheers!
